I love to laugh, to smile, to hear my favorite song on the radio, to feel the sun shining through my sun roof, the look in a guys eyes when he genuinely likes you, the way it smells after the rain. I love the sound of waves hitting the shore, and the energy that little children give when they laugh. I love the way reading your favorite book always feels like coming home, and the way a hug from someone you love makes the whole world feel a little bit better. I love the way that first sip of coffee tastes, and that excited feeling you get before a date, I love the butterflies after a first kiss, and how cozy it is when you first crawl into bed after a long day.
I guess all I’m getting at is that, despite all of the things that can and do go wrong sometimes, it’s the smallest things in life that make it worth living. It’s those things that keep me going, and make me smile.
